Our HSEQ policy is an integral part of everything we think and do, and have made us an industry leader in waste management.
HSEQ in SAR
Safety is not a statistical numbers game for a company that annually handles thousands of tons of hazardous waste. Health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) is the main prerequisite for SAR.
- We place great demands on leadership at all levels and management engagement shall be in line with our strategy
- Our services shall be based upon the highest requirements for our employees, systems, equipment and facilities. This commitment also applies to our selection of suppliers
- We shall be in compliance with all applicable obligations
- We shall not have accidents. We will prevent injury of our employees and pollution to the environment
- We focus on maintaining and improving employee satisfaction at work
- Work performance shall not be at the expense of safety, quality or environmental performance
- We will constantly work to improve our environmental performance including implementation of energy saving measures
- We promise that our customers will receive total waste solutions that prevent loss of resources.
- We will constantly strive to improve our services and our management system for health, environment, safety and quality
ISO Certification
SAR is certified to Norwegian quality standard NS-EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
Our Management System is certified according to NS-EN ISO 14001:2015, NS-EN ISO 9001:2015 and NS-EN ISO 45001: 2023.
The governing process is a general description of the individual processes that make up the Quality System and an explanation of how they interlock together.
